In a major breakthrough for regional cricket, Pakistan and Bangladesh have officially agreed on a T20I series following high-level talks between the two boards. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his appreciation to his Bangladeshi counterparts for finalising the tour. “We are grateful to the BCB leadership for their trust and cooperation. This series is another positive step in strengthening cricketing ties between our nations,” he said. The PCB had hoped to host matches in Faisalabad as well, but it seems revival of cricket in Faisalabad will have to wait. The exact dates are expected soon, but the confirmation itself signals growing confidence in Pakistan as a host for international cricket. Reports initially suggested that multiple Bangladeshi players have expressed hesitation about playing a full five-match series due to continuous cricketing commitments.
